Most successful Internet marketers have cultivated email list of willing subscribers. You may have tried to build a list by placing a eform on your website Houston Texans Jerseys For Sale , but found that most visitors simply ignore it and move on. You could offer a free ebook as an inducement for your visitors to sign up . Since you don’t quite know what your visitors interest are, it may be hard to convince them to register. You may have gather a list but, found that some of the email address were bogus. I don’t think that giving “free reports” in a PDF file is effective as it once was in the early day of Internet marketing. I think the days of “free stuff” has run its course.
So, how do the successful Internet marketers, sometime referred to as marketing gurus, build their list? Most, if not all, have developed a method of capturing email address, when a visitor lands on their sales pitch page. You see, when you land on their splash page you see a video and, in some cases, a very long winded sales letter. But, if you want access to their product page you must surrender your name and email address, in order to gain access. If you don’t make a purchase, or even if you do, your name is on their list which, gives them permission to send you follow up emails.
There is one major problem with this method that may have cost the gurus some sales. That is, when they set up their auto responder (Aweber) they fail to allow a returning visitors to enter their product page after they re-enter their previously entered name and email address. Their auto responder recognizes the name and email address as someone who has previously subscribed and produces an error message. If you really want to visit that product page again you need to enter a new email address (most of these are bogus) and really makes a mess of their list. The gurus fail to test their site(s) and as a result lose sales.
For the rest of us who want to build a email subscriber list, there is a better way. You don’t even need a website, just an auto responder. I have found one that helps me build my list at no cost to me (except the auto responder).
